Agricultural Cooperative “KISSAVOS” was established in 2012 by a group of 21 fruit producers of Agia district that is located 37 km East of Larissa town – Greece and 7 km West of Agiokampos beach. The main products we cultivate are different varieties of apples, cherries and chestnuts. The total private cultivated land is more than 700 acres while the annual production exceeds the quantities depicted below:
Apples: more than 3.500.000 kgs (3.500 tons) of 12 different varieties. Red varieties consist 50% of the production, green apples 30%, yellow or striped - dapple varieties the remaining 20%.
Cherries : more than 300.000 kgs (300 tons) of 10 different varieties of red-shade cherries.
Chestnuts : more than 100.000 kgs (100 tons) of large size Castanea Sativa chestnuts.
During the sort period of our presence in fruit business, the Cooperative has showed great commercial activity not only in the local Greek fruit market but also in fruit markets abroad. The countries we currently export are among others Egypt, UK, Jordan, Iraq and Russian Federation.
Today, Agricultural Cooperative “KISSAVOS” is one of the leading dynamic local enterprises and aims to develop by increasing the cultivated properties and the overall production owned while at the same time aspires to reach new markets in Europe and the Middle East.
