On the old National road from Elefsina to Thebes, we meet the mountainous mass of Kithaironas.
Ascending and descending its slopes, driving to Erythres (Kriekouki) we meet vineyards that lay down from the sky of Attica.
In an altitude of 400 meters and in an area of 5000 acres, stand the vineyards that are cultivated for years, with love and care.
In this corner of Attica land, operates VINEYARD VINICULTUE SOKOS S.A. since 1983, using the beloved fruit of earth that is cultivated from ancient Greece, reviving the myth of Dionysus-Bacchus.
The beginning... 1959...
OUR PHILOSOPHY
50 years and more have already passed from the small winery in Diminio Korinthias which established the foundation of the professional contact with vineyards and wines. The story continues behind the opposite mountain were the facility is transferred on Kithairona’s slopes at Erythres of Attica (Kriekouki).
Progress comes slowly, stable, with certainty.
New facilities and offices.
New synchronous equipment.
Acquisition of own-vineyards along with excellent cooperation with grape growers of the area.
21th century is here and marks 50 years of occupation and love, for a constellation of people with the pure fruits of earth, that except their pleasure in cultivation they also give work to people of the area.
Our company is certified with ISO 22000:2005 and IFS v.6 (international certification in Higher Level).
