We come from a mountainous village in Crete called Assi Gonia of Chania! There we began our production in 1998. A vision became reality with the Light Industry of Cretan Baker’s Goods Gyparaki where we put all our solicitude for tradition and authentic flavor. We relied exclusively on the products of the Cretan Soil and the recipes of our elders Wishing to create pure, tasty and quality products which Bring to mind, Smells and memories from our childhood.


We select the best ingredients of our land for our rusks. We knead them slowly in the traditional way and shape them by hand, forming our final product. We bake them ourselves allowing for their aromas and flavors to emerge.

Our products are made with pure ingredients: extra virgin olive oil, Cretan honey, spices and natural orange juice, kneaded with boiled water from aromatic herbs, without preservatives, one by one,
by hand under our personal care.

We baked rusks and cookies like the ones our grandmother made! They stand out for their freshness, the exclusively traditional way they are baked in our modern facilities and their pure ingredients. They are made exclusively with virgin Cretan olive oil, fresh orange juice and Cretan honey from local producers.

The Gyparaki Small Industry of Traditional Cretan Bakers Products, carries out daily controls. Its products are certified by the Agri-Food Cooperative of the Region of Crete. The enterprise applies the certified management systems of hygiene and food safety FSSC 22000: 2010, ISO 22000:2005  &  PASS 220: 2008.
