Our company was founded in the year 1965 and its main objective is the construction of «ZITA» type of agricultural equipment.

Following a successful production course which led to its leading role in the field of agriculture ZITA S.A. endeavoured an expansion of productive activity in the field of pipe construction in 1990. A new production plant was created for the purposes of pipe construction simultaneously introducing the name ZITA for the company.

In the year 2002, an investment was made in the latest and most advanced production equipment aiming at quality improvement, productivity increase and cost of production decrease.

In the year 2003, the company followed an even more dynamic course of action reinforcing the range of its merchandise with additional steel products (IPE HEA types of steel e.t.c.) Selling and alteration of all these products has brought Zita in the forefront of production turning into one of the leading companies in the field.

Sales abroad include an extension of transactions with the Balkan market and Cyprus reaching a percentage of 25% of its overall production.

AVRV ISO Certificate

In 2003, the company was certified according to the international standards of EN ISO 9001 : 2000 from SGS, aiming at higher standards in production, distribution and quality of its products.

The certification body is the company AVRV which provides us with periodic audits based in EN, IAF and ESYD standards, following the EN ISO 9001:2008 based Quality Manual.

The cold forming process is audited based on EN 10219 Cold formed welded structural sections of non-alloy and fine grain steels.
