Our Company In 1955, at the island of Cephalonia, the Antonatos brothers, Spiros and Dimitris, wholesale merchants in Argostoli, were the first who conceived the idea of this product's, standardisation taking of course under consideration the excellent quality of the honey which comes from the Cephalonian thyme.

Golden Honey finds a place in all big commercial chains in Athens. Smaller and bigger merchants are interested in promoting it. It was the most expensive honey in the market, and that has its own meaning . Needless to say that all the above mentioned are inadequate when we come to define the excellent quality that characterizes this product, its nutritional value, its perfume, its color.

Golden Honey easily managed to exceed Greek borders and took place in international exhibitions, where it gained various prizes, given from famous food experts.

Golden Honey of Cephalonia is a pure, marvellous extract of the most sweet - smelling cephalonian thymes, the sunny herbs of the Ionian land, and consequently can satisfy the gastronomic demands of all good honey's friends.

Our products have achieved ISO 22000 2005 & HACCP Certifications, meeting all requirements of their standardization, and distribution, in total compliance with the international food regulations.
