Veta SA was founded in 1967. Initially the company, based in Metamorphosis, Athens ,positioned itself in the second hand steel tube market of trade and processing. 

In 1976, the first oxygen cutting machine  was installed. Cutting of metal sheets, based on customer needs is a breakthrough in the marketplace.

In 1984,  the company   introduced the first  saw for metals with the unique,for the time,cutting capabilities of 1000x3000x6000mm.

In 1999,  the company inaugurates a facility in the Industrial Area of Sindos, Thessaloniki,covering a total indoor space of 8,000 sq.m. 

In 2000, Veta inaugurates a new  facility in Aharnes, covering a total indoor space of 12,000sqm. At the same time,  the first laser cutting machine is in operation. 16 laser cutting machines since then,have been added in the laser cutting portfolio, either for metal sheets or tubes.    

In 2002, the company installed the first of the 3 water jet cutting machines, providing our clientele with a series of new capabilities ,as more materials could be now processed.  

In 2003,  Veta is certified with the international standard EN ISO9001: 2000.  

In 2014, a further 2 year expansion plan is put into effect mainly in the upgrade of hardware equipment exceeding 8,5 million €. 

In 2016, Veta concluded an investment plan in advanced technology acquiring 47 cutting-edge CNC machines.

Today, Veta SA is the mother company of a group of companies that lists 3 organizations, 5 production plants  and 310 employees.
