Established in 1952 CHALKIS S.A. has completed 50 years of creative and dynamic presence in the field of ceramics. Its main activities are the production and trading of ceramics and ranks 1st among it counterparts in the Greek market.
It has two units with production capacity of 300 tons of tiles per day in Vassiliko-Evias and one unit with production capacity of 700 tons of bricks per day in Shimatari - Viotias.
The company employs a staff of 170. The strength of the company may be mainly attributed to the quality of its products and has contributed to its acquisition of a large market share in Greece.
CHALKIS S.A.’s constant target is the continuous improvement of its products quality. Therefore, it operates a Quality Assurance System according to ISO 9001 for the design and the manufacturing of its products.
By keeping abreast of new technology and using the latest machinery CHALKIS S.A. guarantees strict electronic control at every stage of the production process.
As a supplier to the most significant public and private projects in Greece the company aims at penetrating new markets.
