COMPANY PROFILE
The company began to operate in 1975. Very soon it became a big industrial unit of the most modern of Europe, with building establishments of 32000 m2, with high technology equipment that recently has all been renewed.
The fine quality of the tobacco, the stable tasteful blend of the cigarettes, the modern comprehension of organization and trading which stands on international standards, made Sekap one of the best production, economy and social units.
In the international market, it showed from the first cigarette manufacturers its presence, with exports of large quantities to the former USSR regions, in the Balkan countries, to Middle East, Egypt, Turkey, Guinea, Belgium, Holland, U.S.A as also to South America. Sekap has about 28 kinds of cigarettes with the most important of these being BF, Cooper and GR families. At the beginning of 1997, in collaboration with a scientific team of Researchers - University Professors, it introduced to the market a new product, BF with the Biological Filter, which was extremely successful and gave new perspectives to the company.
