Carmyco S.A. is an industry that has been successfully activating in the production and trading of paint, varnish and adhesive substances for 41 years.
The company’s name has been identified with quality and the high objectives of progress and development.
The fully organised production and sales network continues to expand its activities by launching new, pioneering products based on quality and innovation.

1963: Carmyco S.A. is founded in Athens and starts producing and trading adhesive substances in collaboration with Bally S.A. of Switzerland.

1967: The Company is transferred to privately owned premises in Pefki.

1971: Start of the greatly successful export of products.

1980: A series of investment projects achieves to expand the premises and doubles production.

1990: The success is responsible for the creation of the new fully equipped research & development department and the production of building paints and woodworking varnishes.

1998: The Company is transferred to new privately owned modern premises in an area of 52,000 sq.m.in Inofita of Viotia in order to cover the whole range of applications.

2000: A branch is created in Thessaloniki to meet the increasing demands of collaborators in N. Greece. In addition, Carmyco is certified by ISO 9001 as regards production, research, design and development of products.

2001: In the framework of reorganising Marketing, the branded Status, Optimum and Primo are designed and launched getting instant and warm response from consumers.

2002: The exceptional quality of products as well as the range of ecological paints classifies Carmyco S.A. among the main suppliers of the Olympic Village and other Olympic facilities.

2004: The rapid development of exports to 25 countries globally leads to the opening of the branch in Romania.
