K&N EFTHYMIADIS S.A. is an independent, privately owned company established in Thessaloniki, Greece, since 1935. The company is heavily committed in the development, formulation and distribution of a wide range of agricultural chemicals and foliar fertilizers.
K&N EFTHYMIADIS S.A. has the largest formulating plant in Greece, meeting the highest international standards in production techniques, quality control and safety regulations. Headquarters are located in the industrial area of Sindos, Thessaloniki, together with the company's production facilities. There is a branch office in Athens and several technical support offices througout Greece. K&N EFTHYMIADIS S.A. also has subsidiaries in Bulgaria, Romania and Jugoslavia and there is significant export activity to the Middle-East and Pakistan.
In November 2000, after several months of negotiations, K&N EFTYMIADIS formed a strategic alliance with the multinational MITSUI & CO LTD. Through this alliance the two companies plan to commonly develop their activities in the region of southeast Europe, in the fields of agriculture but also high-tech industry and Internet services. This alliance also shows an increasing international investor interest for the Balkan region and confirms the importance of the city of Thessaloniki as a dynamic centre for the development of the Balkans.
Agrochemicals
Complete coverage of the Greek market is ensured by a network of approx. 900 selling points throughout the Country.
Twenty seven fully qualified agronomists test, register, promote and distribute the Company's pesticides, providing efficient technical and marketing support both to customers and the Greek farmer.
K&N EFTHYMIADIS S.A. enjoys long - standing and extensive relationships with several major International Companies (MITSUI, MONSANTO, AVENTIS, DOW, UNIROYAL, GRIFFIN, FMC, SUNOCO and others) and holds exclusive rights to develop and distribute a wide variety of proprietary products.
The product range includes a large number of commodities, formulated at Sindos plant, based at the Company's technology and long experience.
Fertilizers
The Company produces and distributes a wide range of specific foliar fertilizers, while it cooperates closely and represents several specialty products manufactured by AVENTIS of Germany, WINDMILL of Holland, AGRO-CHEM of USA and others.
EFFA - Home and Garden products
EFFA is the Group's connection to the amateur gardener's requirements in the Home and Garden market sector.
Its product range includes agrochemicals exclusively formulated for use within or near the house, fertilizers specific for each use, flower and vegetable seeds and high quality garden tools.
