The company is founded by the Kremetis brothers, sons of the big (six member) family of Dionysios Kremetis from the village Kokkinopilos, built in 1250 meters altitude on mount OLYMPUS. The company is activated in the area of repairing of road construction machines from the beginning of 1983 with all the legal permissions required and the proper plants. From the next year, 1984 it is also activated in the sector of spare parts.
Then the sector of parts is separated from the garage and two separated enterprises are created. The first with name Kremetis Bros has as an object the marketing of spare parts and road construction machines. The second with the name J. KREMETIS & Company with the same members, has as an object the repairing and maintenance of road construction machines.
Keeping pace with the growth of technology and the continuously increasing requirements of market, the company invests continuously capital aiming at the further upgrade of its services. According to this philosophy, it began from 1996 an ambitious investment program that includes the new privately-owned modern installations and their equipment in the region of the industrial park of Efkarpia and Oreokastro in a space of 4500 m 2 where a department of sales, a model centre of technical support and repairs, and a centre of distribution of parts are run. In 1997 we started also a centre of education, in which in collaboration with the O.E.E.K and the Public IEK of Neapolis, students were trained and educated for the specialty of technicians for road construction machines. The installations are exemplarily organized, functional and friendly.
At the end of the year 2002 the fusion of the two companies, the commercial and the repairing enterprise was announced. The new company KREMETIS BROS - ROAD CONSTRUCTION MACHINES S.A., that resulted from the fusion and it aims at the further growth of the company and its adaptation in the new conditions of the already globalizing market, aiming and in the acquisition of the certificate of quality ISO.
